How to improve the printing precision of digital printing?
1.Reduce the size of ink dots and increase the number of ink dots per unit area
The core parameters of the print head are the smallest picoliter of ink dots, and the resolution is directly related to the printing fineness. The difference in the number of picoliters and resolution of the two different nozzles directly leads to the difference in printing fineness. So you can consider reducing the size of ink dots and increasing the number of ink dots per unit area to improve the fineness of digital printing.
2.Add light-color ink of the same color
Since the ink dots present a single color, the number of ink dots must be reduced to leave blank areas in order to express colors of lower density, which of course will cause the degradation of image quality. Therefore, if you want to improve the printing precision, you can add light-colored inks of the same color. In the case of low-density output, light-color ink with more dots can be used instead of high-density ink, so as to avoid the loss of resolution and fineness caused by the low density and few dots. Customers who are pursuing high printing precision can match light cyan and light magenta inks, and even black will be equipped with third-order inks (Black, Gray, light gray).
3.Matching the spot color scheme
In order to express full color, different sizes and numbers of ink dots must be mixed. For example, magenta and yellow can form red and orange. However, the chroma presented by the subtractive color mixing of the three primary colors is not as bright as the direct use of the ink, so inkjet applications have begun to add complementary color inks. The current common complementary color ink configurations are red, green, and blue or orange, green, purple, which is what we often call spot color ink.
